The first storm of this season brought 2-3 feet of new snow to the mountains, but another warm and dry period melted it back to an elevation of 9,000'. The reports of warm, south facing rock climbing may be coming to an end. The second winter storm is predicted for this weekend with more snow in the mountains and cold temperatures.
Climbing and mountaineering are inherently dangerous pursuits. This website is not a substitute for good judgment. Route conditions and photos will be updated whenever possible, but ulimately the responsibility rests with you and your partners while in the Tetons.
