Dry conditions persist in the Tetons.  Unseasonably warm temperatures have made for great late season climbing conditions.  Of course, this may change any day now!

In the last few days there has been significant rockfall observed on the Grand Teton, in the vicinity of the Otter Body chimney and Second Tower areas.  Guided parties camped in the Jackson Hole Mountain Guides high camp (below the Teepee Glacier) reported large boulders coming down to within 100 feet of their camp.  It is possible for any subsequent rockfall to reach to approach trail to the Lower Saddle.  Always be aware of potential rockfall hazard.
