NOVEMBER CONDITIONS UPDATE - NOV 21, 2021

                                     

Until the last few days, our weather has been unusually warm and dry with little snow showing down in the valley. As of today with our most recent storm, the Surprise Meadow station shows 30" of snow, but as you can see in the photo, snow on the valley floor is minimal and we're a long way from skiing from the valley. 

For those who venture out, be cautious of early-season obstacles amidst the variable, aspect-dependent snowpack. 

Keep an eye on the storm totals and avy forecasts as our snowpack grows and start building your understanding of the snowpack early. See the link below for forecasts and weather/storm data:
