TETON PARK ROAD OPEN TO HIKERS/BIKERS - APRIL 5, 2018

The Teton Park Road has been plowed and is now open to non-motorized travel until May 1st.  Dogs must be leashed and stay on the paved roadway.  Please be cautious and alert as government and contractor vehicles will be on the road from time to time preparing for the summer opening.  All trails and backcountry areas remain 100% snow-covered and in full winter conditions. 

From March 5 through April 30, free winter backcountry camping permits can be obtained at the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center in Moose.  It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through April 28, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. thereafter.   

Beginning May 1, backcountry permits will require a fee and boat permits and entrance passes will be available at the permits desk seven days a week.
