WINTER WILDLIFE CLOSURES IN EFFECT/TETON PARK ROAD OPEN TO NON MOTORIZED TRAVEL - APRIL 12, 2019

The bighorn sheep closure in the Mt Hunt, Prospectors Mtn, and Static Peak Areas remains in effect.  This closure will be lifted on May 1st.  Please help us with this effort to protect these animals by respecting the closures!  Click on the map to see details.  

The Teton Park Road from Taggart Lake Parking Lot to Signal Mountain is now open to non motorized use, including walking and biking.  Please note that electric bicycles are considered motorized use and are prohibited on this portion of the roadway.  The Teton Park Road is scheduled to open to motorized travel on May 1st.

The visitor center in Moose is now open and park information and backcountry camping permits can be obtained there during business hours.  Backcountry camping permits and bear canisters are required for all overnight trips into Grand Teton NP.
