SIGNIFICANT SNOW REMAINS IN THE HIGH COUNTRY - JUNE 11, 2018

Warmer spring temperatures have melted out many of the trails at lower elevations, however, popular mountain passes such as Paintbrush Divide remain under snow and require proper equipment such as ice axe, sturdy footwear, and possibly even crampons for safe passage.  Large portions of the Teton Crest Trail remain under snow making travel and navigation difficult.  Popular climbing routes on the Grand Teton such as Owen Spalding and Upper Exum remain in alpine condition, requiring an ice axe and proper footwear just to reach the Lower Saddle.  Continue to check the blog for updated conditions on trails, passes, and climbs throughout the season.
