The Teton Range - 12.21.18
Not an overabundance of snow in the Teton Range this Winter Solstice of 2018. Since the Thanksgiving storm we have only had two modest snow events in the range. There is about 46" of settled snow on the ground in Surprise Meadow at 9580' and just over 30" in the "One Hour Meadow" on 25 Short, at an elevation of about 8,000 feet. Get the latest snow pack summary and current avalanche hazard in the Teton Range by visiting the Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center website. Happy Holidays to all!
